What We've Done Recently
NUEMS provided medical coverage for the annual NU Legacy March, a 50-mile foot-march from the original location of Norwich University (Norwich, VT) to its current location (Northfield, VT).
NUEMS provided continuous coverage for the four-day event. NUEMS members walked with the Cadets for the entire 50-miles!
Can't wait to do it again next year!
NUEMS took the twelve-hour drive down to Pittsburg this February to attend the National Collegiate EMS Foundation's 2019 Conference.
The seven members who attended on behalf of NUEMS learned a lot about Emergency Medicine and what role Collegiate EMS Organizations like ours play in keeping our campuses healthy and safe!
We will also be attending the 2020 Conference in Boston!
NUEMS took over 1st Company's STTs (Sergeant's Training Time) for a week to teach recognized Rooks the basics of Combat Medicine.
The Cadets learned about bleeding control, shock management, CPR, and basic joint immobilization.
